Kajo Apuvälineet is an experienced Finnish Assistive Technology company. We specialize in installing, servicing and reselling Assistive Technology: Environmental control systems, communication software and different kinds of devices and programs for Augmentative and Alternative Communication. We utilize our experience in day-to-day patient work to design and manufacture Assistive Technology products we believe will be meaningful and usable to their users. We take pride in our reputation for reliability and in the know-how we have acquired through the years.

Our Products

Our products are designed to withstand the challenges of everyday use and we believe they can enhance the quality of life of their users. Our innovative Ability Switch production started nearly 5 years ago. Since then we have been developing our products to answer the needs of our customers all over the world. Interest towards our products has been growing steadily. Our products include Ability Switches and wireless RF technology solutions among others. Our approach to Assistive Technology is patient-oriented, our main goal is to support the end user's independence and ability to function.

Product Development

The valuable information we gain from our users and from product testing gives us insight into our products’ real world usability. We keep making revisions to our products to ensure their usability and durability in everyday life. Each of our products has been upgraded based on the results of our product testing and the feedback from users. Using 3D printing technology enables us to make even the smallest improvements to our products. The safety of our products is important to us - we have chosen to use non-toxic printing materials and food grade colors in our products.
